European Cloud Summit is the major technology conference focusing on Microsoft Azure and cloud computing topics.
Europe needs a dedicated premium Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies conference. Azure and cloud topics are often included as a track in generic technology conferences, or considered as an addition to existing conferences, but they never seem to be the primary focus. There is no major premium event in Europe dedicated exclusively to Microsoft Azure.
This is why we are proud to present the European Cloud Summit (aka "Cloudsummit"), which will be held in Mainz, Germany, on September 28-30 2020. Cloudsummit is here to fill this gap and provide exclusive focus on Microsoft Azure and related cloud computing topics.
The mission of the European Cloud Summit is to become the premium European technology conference, focused on actual cloud topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, and business and technology aspects alike. European Cloud Summit will focus primarily on Microsoft Azure, with a certain amount of the sessions dedicated to Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, as well as to other cloud vendors and multicloud and hybrid solutions.
European Cloud Summit is both business and technology conference. We will have world-class experts and speakers, both from
Microsoft Executives and Microsoft Corporate, and from the community (Microsoft Regional Directors and Microsoft MVPs), focusing not only on the newest technological developments of Microsoft
Azure and general cloud topics, but also on the business and legal aspects of working with cloud technology. Our content will be fairly split between business and legal, management,
architectural, administrative, and development topics.
European Cloud Summit is initiated and managed by few Microsoft Regional Directors and Azure MVPs: Jussi Roine (Azure MVP/RD, Finland), Damir Dobrić (Azure MVP/RD, Germany), Adis Jugo (Azure MVP/RD, Germany) and Spencer Harbar (Microsoft MVP, MCA and MCM, UK). We will rely on the competent Nubelus UG team to execute day-to-day conference management.
The content team will consist of Jussi, Damir, Spence and Mustafa Toroman (Azure MVP, Bosnia).
As the name suggests, European Cloud Summit and European Collaboration Summit (https://www.collabsummit.eu) are sister conferences, managed in a similar way, but in the same time very different, with different teams managing them. While the Collabsummit, the largest European Modern Workplace, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and PowerPlatform conference will further sharpen its profile in those topics, the newly founded Cloudsummit will focus on Microsoft Azure, cloud platforms, and cloud business, as such.
